About Me
I'm currently a PhD Linguistics student at the University of Birmingham, UK. Prior to this, I graduated with a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and a Bachelor of Arts in English.
My doctoral research is a corpus-assisted metaphor analysis of pregnancy discourse. My main research interests are metaphor, gender, health communication, online communication and critical discourse analysis.

I have also been a research assistant on an interdisciplinary project at the University of Birmingham entitled 'Improving communication with parents or carers who have lost a child'.
